Spike’s Door Service was started in Perrysburg, Ohio in 1962 by Ernest A. “Spike” Haas. To this day, we remain a family owned and operated business serving Perrysburg and the surrounding communities.

For the past 62 years, we have continued to offer quick, expert, and reasonably priced services.

While we also handle new construction installations, our specialty is replacing broken garage door springs and replacing existing garage doors and operators.

Spring replacement is given high priority and we offer amazingly fast turnaround times, often able to have your door expertly fixed within an hour of the initial call.

Wayne Dalton’s Model 8300 garage door, manufactured in Ohio, is one of the industry’s best and represents over 90% of the doors we install.

We install Ohio-made Genie operators and specifically stock the Model 3024, a 3/4 horsepower, full chain drive with a quiet DC motor.

Our truck and shop are stocked with a full supply of torsion springs and parts made by Service Spring Corp in Maumee, OH. Nearly all spring replacement jobs are completed within 30 minutes of arrival, without the need to return to the shop for parts.
